Great Line-Up of 2012 Motorcycles, Show Features, Special Guests, & Custom Bike Builders at the SPRINGSHOW This Weekend!

This weekend, March 17 & 18, marks an early start for the 2012 riding season as the Toronto International Motorcycle SPRINGSHOW, presented by Dalton Timmis Insurance and sponsored by Kahuna Powersports and Pizza Pizza, opens at the International Centre on Airport Road. The SPRINGSHOW has expanded once again for 2012, now taking place in Halls 1, 2, and 3 which means larger displays of the new 2012 Motorcycles, more special features, a bigger line up of special guests and more top custom bike builders.

The GTA's top motorcycle dealers are relocated into the new Industry Hall 3 where the public is invited to sit on all the bikes and talk to the reps who are there to help riders pick out the right ride for the 2012 season. And there’s the unique opportunity to see Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible Triumph Scrambler in the GP Bikes booth. Suzuki of Newmarket has provided this year’s door prize of a Suzuki DR-Z 125 Dirt Bike to be drawn on Sunday of the Show on the Hall 1 Stage.

Included in the line-up of Special Guests at this year's SPRINGSHOW are Motocross Star, Kyle Keast, and recording artist, Paris Black, both of whom will be signing autographs for fans. One of the highlights of the many feature displays is the 'Bikes of the Century' – always a very popular red carpet display of historical and significant motorcycles from the past 100 years. Many of Canada's most famous builders will bring their finest showbikes to compete for $20,000 in cash & awards. The big 'Kreater' booth will debut 4 brand new creations recently returning from a sweep of the big U.S. V-Twin Expo, while the always-popular 'Kons Garage' will feature bikes from Superstar Builders Billy Lane, Indian Larry and Jesse James. Into speed? Check out the nitro-burning Harley Dragsters!

The Toronto Spring Motorcycle Show runs Saturday, March 17th from 10am to 9pm, and Sunday, March 17th from 10am to 5pm. The International Centre is located at 6900 Airport Road. Admission is $18 for adults; $5 for youths under 12, free for children under 6, and parking is free.

New Dates and New Halls announced for the 2012 Toronto International Motorcycle SPRINGSHOW, presented by Dalton Timmis Insurance.

The 2012 SPRINGSHOW will expand into Halls 1, 2, 3 and 3A, on new dates of March 17 & 18, while also holding Halls 4 and 4A for future growth. Announcing this major news, Show Manager, Peter Derry, states "For a number of years the Motorcycle SPRINGSHOW's major new motorcycle exhibitors have requested earlier dates to better accommodate their Spring sales timing. We are happy to report that the International Centre, recognizing the growth needs of the SPRINGSHOW, has now been able to reorganize available dates to accomplish a realignment of available halls."

The Motorcycle SPRINGSHOW will now exhibit on over 200,000 square feet at the International Centre, the established venue of choice for thriving powersports consumer shows, providing an excellent opportunity for exhibitors to expand with the Show and allowing attendees to enjoy a greater shopping experience with larger displays and feature areas. In anticipation of continued increasing attendance the Toronto Motorcycle SPRINGSHOW has embarked on an aggressive advertising, publicity and promotional campaign to inform Ontario motorcyclists of these exciting changes.

The SPRINGSHOW, now in its 22nd year, has established itself as the leader in Spring retail motorcycle shows timed perfectly in preparation of the start of the new riding season, and attracts record numbers of motorcyclists to the International Centre to shop for all that's new in motorcycling and plan for a new year of great riding.
